How it Started

In 2017 Christie and her husband purchased a commercial building in the town of Paisley. The building they bought is where Christie started her first job at the age of fifteen. It was a place called, The Tea Room. A business Jim and Helen Ewing ran. Prior to that, as some may remember, it was the Old Machine Shop or The Paisley Advocate building. 

Christie had a vision for how she wanted Definition Fitness to look. With the immaculate help of her husband and his handy work, as well as a lot of blood, sweat and tears, Christie and her husband were able to make her dream become a reality!  One year later they opened the doors to Definition Fitness. Initially a small open gym facility and a few workout classes were offered. Now, four years and a couple expansions later, the 24 hour gym facility is almost 2,000 square feet, and there are multiple daily fitness classes offered. 

From the beginning, Christie new that she wanted to incorporate Chelsey, On into the Definition Fitness team. When classes began in Paisley, they also were offered in Chesley. You will find body sculpt classes and pound offered by two amazing trainers, Robyn and Melinda. Classes are offered at both the community centre and the firehall. These trainers love to exercise in the warmer months and tend to bring the classes outside to enjoy the beautiful weather!

The dream doesn't stop here. Definition Fitness will work hard to continue to provide the best classes and numerous machines for the 24 hour gym. Christie and her team will always seize any opportunity that comes, to make Definition Fitness the best that it can be.
